Looking from the customer`s perspective not only means knowing what he expects. We want to go further and realize his wishes as early as the project phases.

For us the much heralded "win/win situation" means being an active high-performance partner for our customers and maintaining our technological leadership in the field of exhaust-gas post-treatment in commercial vehicles. To this end, we compare tried and tested technologies with the latest innovations as early as the implementation process.

The focus however is always kept on the product solution, the customer-specific "Design to Spec" that has been elaborated. The reliability and assurance of product features is of the utmost importance. This also refers to the process reliability of the scope of supply through to EOP (End of Production). This is not mere lip service – for us it means entering into a lasting and true partnership.

Ecological awareness and protection of resources bear fruit
As a reliable exhaust specialist, we have firmly established the protection of resources and environmentally-compatible production processes in our company`s mission statement and in our day-to-day work. When implementing projects, this has noteworthy advantages for our customers: our products are manufactured in a market-oriented manner, and production savings can be passed on to our customers. Globalization is additionally helpful here as we can often produce the products in the place where they will be installed. But it is not just the production locations that are strategically positioned; increasingly our customers can meet with our sales colleagues and engineers in special Design Centers. These are advantages, which are particularly important in intercultural dialog and which facilitate forethought and mutual understanding enormously.

Solutions and innovations for today and tomorrow
The stricter exhaust emission standards, Euro 4, which came into effect in Europe in 2004, place high requirements on exhaust systems. Previously, diesel particle filters (DPF) or SCR systems (selective catalytic reduction) could usually be avoided using engine modifications only. This situation will change again significantly, depending on engine power, when the Euro 6 comes into force in 2013. A onebox or twobox design combination system will then be required. Eberspächer is one of the technology leaders in EPA 10 and Euro 6 combination systems.
